Sealants
Chemotherapy, Home 4 Portfolio
Sealants are used to protect your healthy molars from cavities. Usually sealants are done in children starting at age 6 and going up to age 12. A sealant is a clear or whitish coating that goes on top of your teeth to act as a barrier against bacteria and plaque and may reduce the possibility of getting a cavity. Adults may choose to have sealants placed on their molars as well.
